Kuapa Kokoo welcomed Olivier and Maja from Wander AG, Switzerland, for a learning visit focused on the organisation’s sustainability initiatives and efforts towards compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
During the visit to Goaso, the team explored the Sankofa Project, gaining first-hand insight into its Dynamic Agroforestry, Food Agroforestry System and DAF Islands. They also learned about the practical interventions being implemented to promote sustainable cocoa production, responsible farming practices and improved livelihoods within farming communities.
The visit provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing, experience exchange and stronger collaboration towards building a more sustainable and transparent cocoa supply chain.
At Kuapa Kokoo, we believe that strong partnerships and shared learning are essential to securing a sustainable future for cocoa farmers, their families and their communities.
